Louie Spence is a much loved household name and TV personality, in addition to a revered dance expert and choreographer.
With a career spanning a lifetime in the entertainment industry, Louie has starred in top West-End musicals such as Cats, Closer to Heaven and was part of the award-winning original cast of Miss Saigon. A Londoner born & bred, Louie attended the prestigious Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts and worked as a backing dancer on tours from Bjork to the Spice Girls.
Louie first burst onto our screens as a judge & mentor on TV series Cirque de Celebrité on Sky1 in 2006 and the American version Celebrity Circus for NBC. Going on to be the Artistic Director of the Covent Garden dance studio, commonly known as Pineapple, he starred in the huge hit & docu-soap Pineapple Dance Studios in February 2010.
Following this, Louie quickly became a new judge on the ITV’s Dancing on Ice and was adored by viewers up and down the country. It was then writing his column in Heat magazine, which lead to Louie having the idea for writing his hugely successful autobiography, Still Got It, Never Lost It!
In August 2013, Louie entered the Celebrity Big Brother house to participate in the twelfth series, where he was evicted a mere two days before the final.
Most recently Louie appeared on C4’s hit show ‘The Jump’ and starred in the sell-out tour of the West-End smash hit, ‘The Producers’.
Louie is often asked to appear and guest on a variety of TV & radio shows, known for his humour and ability to draw in viewers and listeners alike. A strong broadcaster and performer, Louie has become one of the most recognizable faces of British television.
